Meet Our Team
executive board
James Loudenslager
President
James is a senior from Columbia, Missouri studying Political Science and living in Knott Hall. In between shifts at LaFun (say hi to him whenever he loves to be disturbed), James can be found perfecting his French accent, hiding his true identity as a conspiracy theorist, or rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Megan Toussaint
Vice President of Administration
Megan is a junior History major (with three minors that she may or may not be able to complete) living in Cavanaugh Hall. When she's not doing mock trial, you can find her contemplating her March Madness brackets or spending all of her Flex Points at Cafe J.
Avery Gahler
Vice President of Travel
Avery is a senior English and Economics major from St. Paul, Minnesota. Outside of mock trial, Avery is involved in StuGov and works in the Law School. In her free time, Avery can be found listening to T-Swift, drinking Diet Coke, and doing the daily crossword.
Ryan Brogan
Tournament Director
Ryan is a junior majoring in political science from Northern Kentucky (ask him about his BBB award!!). When he’s not rehearsing his openings to the wall, you can find him in Knott Hall loudly cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cincinnati Bengals or wearing suspenders (method acting).
Tiara Takyi
Treasurer
Tiara is a senior from Columbus, Ohio (she’s in a better place now). She is a Management Consulting and Marketing double major with a minor in PPE (philosophy, political science, and economics), and she was abroad in Greece last fall. GO IRISH!
John Vranas
Secretary
John is a junior studying Political Science in the Glonors program (ask him about his free printing credits). He's from the suburbs of Chicago, where his lawyer parents trained him to give closing statements daily at the dinner table. When he's not crying about the pathetic Chicago Bears, he’s arguing theology in Baumer.
the team
Eric Derr
Eric is a senior double-majoring in PLS (Program of Liberal Studies) and Chinese, with a French minor. In his downtime he enjoys watching art restoration videos and reading. He works for ND Studios and Fighting Irish Media where he serves as a Student Manager.
Julia Wojciak
Julia is a senior from Milwaukee, WI majoring in Finance & ACMS with minors in History & Business and the Common Good. Outside of Mock Trial, she's probably in the library sweating Investment Theory, studying for the LSAT, or practicing her ping pong skills in the McGlinn 24.
Nolan Reddy
Nolan is too mysterious for a bio. Or a picture.
Dominic Ambrose
Dominic is a junior from Utica NY (where?), currently living in Carroll Hall (where?). He is majoring in the Program of Liberal Studies with Business Economics and Italian minors. When he’s not posing with trophies, you can find him training to pose with a Bengal Bouts trophy or competitively trading baseball cards.
Victor Kaminski
Victor is a junior studying Finance and Political Science from Omaha, NE. Outside of Mock Trial, he is a member of Notre Dame's Student Policy Network and loves to watch Kansas City Chiefs haters complain about the refs. When he gets back from studying aborad in Scotland he’ll take over as VP Admin… but for now he stays down here.
Maya Tuviera
Maya is a junior from Manila, Philippines studying Political Science with minors in PPE, Journalism, Chinese, and the Glynn Family Honors program. When she’s not getting herself into situations that will enable her to cry on the witness stand, she’s taking pictures with her digital camera (smile!).
Kate Langford
Kate is a junior from Avon, Indiana majoring in American Studies and English and minoring in Public Policy, Data Science, and the Glynn Family Honors Program. Outside of Mock Trial, she miraculously finds the time to lead both SIBC and SPN projects. If you’re ever stuck in the wilderness, Kate’s your best bet to survive.
Will Hausman
Will is a junior from St. Joseph, Missouri, living in Keenan Hall double majoring in Political Science and French. If he's not at mock trial, he's playing piano or on WSND, a Notre Dame radio show. He enjoys long walks on the beach and his PR for the NYT Mini is 24 seconds.
Seamus McGinty
Seamus is a junior studying Finance from Cleveland, OH. Currently, he's a part of SIBC and Investment club and enjoys watching the Browns’ desperate and fruitless journey towards a SuperBowl. He can also probably kick higher than you.
Sean Utrie
Sean is a sophomore from Appleton, WI majoring in Political Science. Outside of mock trial, he carries his team in section football and plays saxophone in a band. He’s also a Certified Disney Adult, a title that he provided voluntarily and wears proudly on his sleeve. Call him the Onceler. I dare you.
Carter Stevens
Carter is a sophomore majoring in Economics from Cincinnati, OH. If he’s not practicing his statements or his witness testimony under his breath, he’s probably running (both away from his responsibilities and around campus)!
Nicole Muniz
Nicole (aka Nikki) is a sophomore from New Jersey studying Political Science. When she's not at mock trial, you can find her running around the lake, at Ryan Hall waiting in line for FJs, or (voluntarily) lugging the case box around campus.
Matthew Mrosla
Matthew is a sophomore from Champlin, Minnesota studying Philosophy, Theology, and PLS (ask him what his favorite book is). In between Matthew’s star-studded mock trial performances, Matthew can be found serving as the President of the First-Year Class Council and perfecting his musical rendition of ‘I’m Just Ken.’
Paul Stevenson
Paul is a sophomore majoring in Psychology with a pre-Med Concentration and a minor in Sociology. Outside of mock, Paul is involved with Student Government and Student Union Board and loves planning/volunteering events and fundraisers. Fun fact: Paul claims he can do a really good French accent, but the ban on his Parisian character witness should tell you that is not the case.
Patrick Bunal
Patrick is a sophomore living in O'Neill and hailing from the “great” state of New Jersey. He is double-majoring in Economics and PLS. Patrick loves roleplaying outside of Mock Trial, too– as a member of SIBC (where he cosplays as a consultant), Lit Choir (where he pretends he can sing), and the Equestrian Club (where he lives out his horse boy dreams).
