Henry Leaman
Henry is a Law Professor at Emory University in Atlanta. A graduate of Notre Dame law school, two-time federal clerk, and former employment litigator, he joined the coaching staff in 2019 and has served as the program’s Executive Attorney-Coach since 2021. As an undergrad, Henry was President of Miami Ohio’s mock trial program and he finished in the top ten at Nationals twice. He’s also well-known on the circuit for his tournament photography and desire to see every Van Gogh painting.

Vivian Pham
Vivian competed on UC San Diego’s mock trial team before heading to Notre Dame Law School and joining the program’s coaching staff. After enduring three (3) South Bend winters and one (1) global pandemic, she made her way back to Southern California where she now works as a real lawyer, but sometimes wishes she were just a fake lawyer again. Coaching remotely from California, Vivian can be found at the beach watching zoom trials and editing google docs.

Charlie is an NDMT alum from the class of 2024. He is an All-American Attorney, TBC competitor, and former NDMT Program President (overachiever much?) who remains famous on the AMTA circuit for his lucious eyelashes and devastating crosses. He’s originally from Dalls (go Cowboys) (he made us write that) but now works as a consultant in Chicago.
B-Team CoachTheodora ciobanu
Theo is an NDMT alum from the class of 2025, and current studies at UCLA law. These days, she competes for UCLA’s nationally renown trial team.
B-Team CoachStephen Johnson
Stephen is a UCLA Law alum currently working plaintiff side litigation in the city of San Diego. An Ohioan patriot with an incurable itch for the fine cuisine of Skyline, Stephen persevered at UCinncinnnati before winning TBC in 2019. Stephen spends rounds writing cryptic codes and slander in his padfolio. Ask him about any of the following: his podcasting passion, the magnificeance of manteaus, and the joys associated with household chores.
B-Team CoachSimeon lawrence
Simeon is Northwood University alum originally from Elyria, Ohio. In college he was a football player and an All-American mock trial witness (shoutout to Professor Leapheart and Chris Grant!). He currently works in the staffing industry, and is a huge cinema, podcast, and world history buff!
Ella Cain
C-Team CoachElla is an NDMT alum in the class of 2024. She competed in Mock Trial throughout high shcool and college and represented the program at Regionals, ORCS, and Nationals. Originally from Minnesota, Ella is currently a 2L at Notre Dame Law School where she is also a member of the Moot Court Team.
